Comeback!
Hello! It's been a while since I last posted here, kinda like a time capsule when you look at it. I hope to make many more posts in the future, and now, and I hope you enjoy.
Tah Dah!

Right, well the first thing I want to talk about is something that's been interesting me for a while. It's both philosophical and technological, so it can appeal to many sides.
The Simulation Hypothesis
There have been many jokes about the rate of progression of technology. The law known as Moore's Law indicates that the ammount of RAM, or the capacity for storage (and so on) doubles every 18 months. This doesn't sound impressive, but the rate of expansion is exponential, so the power of a PC (set at a fixed price) looks like this:
So after doubling several times, you get a computer that's over 100 times more powerful than the original. If I keep up with the technology, then my equivalent of a 4 gig of RAM computer will be equiped with half a terabyte of memory. And this is a home computer!
So yeah, the rate of expansion is pretty amazing. The web's only 5000 days old as well
Tah Dah!
